Your role:

As the Global Retail Operations Manager you will be part of Woolrich’s DTC Department reporting directly to our Global Retail Director. You will cover a strategic role aimed at helping the organization to remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business. You will be responsible for formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.

 

Your day to day:

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
  • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
  • Manage costs budgets and forecasts
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
  • Train and supervise staff on all operational procedures, including omnichannel
  • Implement and share best practices on operational activities

 

Your added value to the team:

  • Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Fashion Management
  • At least 5 years in a role with similar responsibilities
  • proven strong knowledge and understanding of the retail premium Fashion industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate productively and ability to influence in a team environment
  • Agile mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Project management skills and leadership
  • Ability to look for new approaches and solutions to the challenges of this role
  • Business acumen, numerical agility and forward-thinking
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Fluency in English, strong knowledge of Germany is highly appreciated
  • Willingness to travel
